1. Garlic

According Oratz, garlic has properties that help regulate and improve liver function.

"It has anti-inflammatory properties that can help regulate the work of the liver," says nutritionist Rivka Oratz. "It is advisable to crush it and then consume it to take advantage of its properties."

Garlic, the expert also recommend it for its high content of allicin, which helps the cleanse of the liver.


2. Apple


Thanks to its high fiber content, the apple is also a great ally when it comes to taking care of the liver. The apple is considered one of the most complete foods.

"It is important to take care of this aspect, because, among other things, the proteins that are formed in the liver transport iron, vitamin A and copper to the rest of our body," claims Rivka Oratz.

Another attribute is that it contains a large amount of vitamin C, which also acts as an antioxidant and protects cells from external damage.

3. Broccoli

"Lemon juice contains a large amount of concentrated vitamin C. A small lemon contains one third of the recommended daily amount of this vitamin," says Rivka Oratz.

"There are several studies that confirm this: lemon contains vitamin C, flavonoids, carotenoids and other bioactive compounds that fight oxidative damage and protect the liver," adds Rivka Oratz.
